Hello Resident

We have received reports of parking concerns outside Mynydd Cynffig Infants School. Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team are working with your school to help ensure the safety of all pupils at the start and end of the school day.

We appreciate parking outside the local schools are at a minimum, however we urge the public to be mindful about parking safely and legally when dropping off and collecting children from school. The safety of the children is the main priority.  Abiding by the above will help to ensure that the children are able arrive and leave the school safely. Parking on any yellow lines outside the school and on the pavement outside the school gate entrance is not permitted. 

While some enforcement activity is carried out jointly with partners (relevant local authority employ parking enforcement officers rather than the police), often problems can be alleviated through awareness and education, or other practical measures.
